Shaft encoders

The incremental shaft encoders have been designed for heavy duty application, especially for use in environments where potentially explosive atmospheres can be expected. This makes the encoder especially suitable for use in petrol, LPG and diesel dispensing systems. The rugged and compact design is also an advantage in other applications such as machine control and monitoring.

Our shaft encoder are tested and granted ATEX, IECEx, UKEX and MID approvals. The encoders are W&M approved in most countries.

Shaft Encoder Type 01-08

The incremental shaft type 01-08 has been designed for heavy duty application, especially for use in environments where potentially explosive atmospheres can be expected.

The 01-08 consists of many variants with different specification like shaft coupling, cable length, type of output, pulses per revolution etc..

Common to all the 01-08 encoders is that they have the same formfactor and they are EX approved (Flameproof enclosures or Intrinsic safe).
